Looking Back on the Bell Rock Trail, Leading to the Northern Parking Lot

The Bell Rock Trail - The Beginning
  

This trail will lead up the northern face of Bell Rock. Taking the Bell Rock Pathway on the West side of the base of Bell Rock also gives hikers access to the southern trailhead of Courthouse Butte Loop. 
     

The hike can be divided into four sections:



 
Courthouse Vista (Northern Bell Rock) Parking Lot to the Base of Bell Rock 

A day use permit is purchased at the parking lot.

From the Courthouse Vista Parking Lot take Bell Rock Trail to the northern base of Bell Rock.

"Baby (Northern) Bell Rock" is a large rock in mid-valley, just north of Bell Rock.

Bell Rock Trail Crosses Bell Rock Path.   Bell Rock Trail Leads up Bell Rock.  To go to the southern trailhead of Courthouse Butte loot take the Bell Rock Pathway (Path) to the Right and head south.

A closer view of Bell Rock.  Notice a slide area in the upper mid-portion of the rock.  Hikers have scaled this area. Extreme care is needed since footing is poor and the slide may be slippery.
